Cancellation & No-Show Policy

1. DJ Cancellations

  • 7+ days before event: DJ must notify the venue through the booking thread. No platform penalty.
  • 48–72 hours before event: DJ notifies the venue, and their profile receives a "Late Cancel" flag visible to venues.
  • Under 48 hours or no-show: Venue can file a No-Show Report. Three reports trigger an automatic account review by admin.

2. Venue Cancellations

  • 7+ days before event: Venue notifies the DJ through the booking thread. No platform penalty.
  • Under 48 hours: The DJ is entitled to any deposit previously agreed in the booking summary.
  • Repeat late cancels: Venues with 3+ late cancellations receive a "Cancellation History" note on their venue profile.

3. How to Cancel

  • On-platform only: All cancellations must be done inside the booking thread on GigConnect Pro.
  • Off-platform doesn't count: Off-platform cancellations (text, DM, phone) are not recognized by GigConnect Pro.
  • Steps: Go to your booking, click "Cancel This Booking", and select a reason.

4. GigConnect Pro Is Not Liable

  • We are a connector: We connect DJs and venues. We do not process payments.
  • Disputes: Disputes over fees, deposits, or damages are between the two parties.
  • Account standing: GigConnect Pro may remove accounts that repeatedly violate community standards.
